WORKSHOP ON
BIOTECHNOLOGY ENTREPRENEURSHIP

ORGANIZED AT THE DEPARTMENT ON, 17TH OCTOBER, 2023.

One Workshop on biotechnology Entrepreneurship was organized at the Department on, 17th
October, 2023. Dr. Vikram Raval, Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology &
Biotechnology, coordinated the event which was aimed to sharpen the entrepreneurial skills and
mindset of Microbiology and Biotechnology students. Dr. Daxa Sakhiya, Manager Gujarat State
Biotechnology Mission and Dr. Javid Shaikh, CEO, Incubation Centre, NIPER-Ahmedabad took
some enlightening sessions which were focused at developing entrepreneurial mindset and
create awareness among students. The zest of event was more and more such workshops
should be organized which create awareness among students to be job givers instead of job
seekers and develop a bio business of their own in this thwarting scenario and competing world.

VGU ON 3RD INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON RECENT
TRENDS IN ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
(RTESD 2023).

It is a distinct honor to announce that Dr. Meenu Saraf has
been invited as a key speaker at the 3rd International
Conference on Recent Trends in Environment and Sustainable
Development (RTESD 2023) hosted by VGU. The conference,
scheduled to take place from December 22 to 24, 2023, is a
platform for experts and scholars to converge and discuss
emerging trends in environmental studies and sustainable
development.
